On May 21, 2014, in Beijing, Mr. Zhang Jianguo, Vice Chairman and President of China Construction Bank (CCB), Mr. Hu Zheyi, Executive Director and Vice President of CCB and CCB delegation including Mr. Jiang Jianhua, Deputy General Manager of International Business Department of CCB met with H.E. Essa Abdulfattah Kazim, Governor of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Chairman of DIFC Authority (DIFCA),  and the authority’s delegation including the DIFCA CEO Mr. Jeffrey H. Singer, its Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer , Mr. Chirag Shah and the Head of Banking and Capital Markets , Mr. Abhimanyu Singh. 

During the meeting, Mr. Zhang Jianguo and Mr. Hu Zheyi introduced China's economic development, CCB’s overseas development strategy and overall operational updates of CCB and CCB Dubai; H.E. Essa Abdulfattah Kazim and Mr. Jeffrey H. Singer reciprocated with updates on Dubai’s economy and DIFC's latest operation development; both sides also had in-depth discussion on inter- regional cooperation and win-win mutual collaboration between CCB and DIFC. The DIFC also expressed their full support for CCB’s operation and strategic growth in Dubai in the future.

Mr. Zhang Jianguo and Mr. Hu Zheyi also gave sincere appreciation to ongoing DIFC’s support since preparation and establishment of CCB Dubai. The DIFC delegations also invited Mr. Zhang Jianguo, Mr. Hu Zheyi and CCB delegations to visit Dubai in the near future.
