In order to promote its business development in the Middle East and North Africa and provide better financial services to the Chinese companies who are "going globally" and the local customers, CCB is applying for licence from DIFC as CCB DIFC branch and has been granted in principle. Relevant work is under progression constantly.

After the conversion, CCB DIFC Branch will take over all assets, liabilities and business of CCB Dubai and will send notice on the transfer of contracts to relevant parties as required by laws and regulations. The conversion will not have any impact on the ability of CCB DIFC Branch to fulfil its commitments. All the existing provisions of contract will continue to be effective.
