Since early this year, the COVID-19 virus pandemic has made significant challenge to countries all over the world. CCB DIFC Branch actively fulfilled corporate social responsibility during this special moment of time and devoted to curb the virus spread and welcomed the reopening of Dubai economy.
CCB DIFC made a donation of masks to UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention in early March, and advocated and encouraged all the employees to participate into the “10 Million Meals” and “Tallest Donation Box” campaigns sponsored by local government. A total of 1020 meals as well as 8000 Dirhams were donated by our employees to support disadvantaged groups to get through this difficult time.
Meanwhile, CCB DIFC helps local government, medical institutions, “One Belt One Road” initiative projects and local companies to purchase supplies from Chinese suppliers to fight against COVID-19 through CCB Global Matching Platform and networks of business.
With CCB Head Office leading the way, CCB DIFC has reached out to invite local companies to participate the online “Canton Fair”, which was a magnificent platform for participants to find business opportunities despite the influence of the virus. CCB will provide one-stop service including registering to the Fair and financing.
