Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) in partnership with Shenzhen Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, Dubai Chamber and China Construction Bank hosted DMCC Dubai “Made for Trade Live-China in Focus” Roadshow successfully on 27th May 2021, which held a main venue in Shenzhen and also broadcasted online. This roadshow was jointly arranged by CCB DIFC Branch and Shenzhen Branch. This event held both on site in Shenzhen and online broadcasted by live through the “CCB Match Plus” platform globally.
DMCC is a Free Zone that established by Dubai Authority in 2002. In 2020, DMCC opened its representative office in Shenzhen that bring DMCC closer to Chinese market. This webinar is the first event organized jointly by CCB and the Free Zone located in UAE, which developed a new way to serve Chinese domestic companies “Go Global” in the MENA area. The webinar attracted hundreds of company audiences, around 100 clients attend onsite, and more than 800 clients attended online through the “CCB Match Plus” platform.
The Executive Director of DMCC Mr. Ahmad Hamza, Secondary Supervisor of Shenzhen Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality Mr. Gao Lin, Economic and Commercial Counselor of China to Dubai Mr. Wu Yi delivered speeches respectively. Deputy General Manager of International Business Department of China Construction Bank Ms. Hu Bofei delivered a speech and made an introduction of “CCB Match Plus” platform and its key functions and practices in helping to fight against the global epidemic and promoting the cross-border business cooperation. DMCC Far East Regional representative Ms. Wei Rong made a presentation about Benefits of Doing Business in Dubai, focus on Dubai’s strategic location to world trade, DMCC’s leading position in Dubai and etc. To help audience to better understand the business opportunities and favorable policies in Dubai, the event held a panel discussion inviting guests from different area such Dubai Chamber, China Construction Bank Shenzhen Branch and etc. to share their insights.

Free Zones are playing significant roles in creating an ecosystem that enables Chinese companies to start and expand their business efficiently and with confidence.
