The United Arab Emirates government announced a new weekend change from Friday- Saturday to Saturday-Sunday, effective from January 1, 2022.

In order to enhance the economic competitiveness and growth of China Construction Bank (DIFC) Branch (hereinafter referred to as the “Bank”), the Bank will continue to operate five days a week in order to better serve our customers.  In addition, to align with international practices, the Bank’s business hours will be changed from Sunday-Thursday to Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. These changes will be effective from January 1, 2022.

Please note that the Bank’s Business day (Clause 1.16) in the Standard Terms and Conditions remains unchanged. A copy of the same can be found below.
