On 7th September, the fourth "China-Arab Economic and Trade Investment Summit Forum" with the theme of "Innovation-driven, building a Community with a Shared Future for Global Development" was held in Xiamen. Government officials from China and Arabic countries, diplomatic envoys from Arabic countries in China, research scholars and business representatives gathered together to seek strategies to advance Sino-Arab cooperation and development. The DSEO of the branch was invited for guest speech, sharing the achievements of CCB's cooperation in trade and investment between China and Arabic countries.
The branch’s DSEO Hou Wang said that China and Arabic countries share a long term friendship with actively supporting to each other both in trade and investment, and keep stepping into new chapter of win-win cooperation. As the first branch of China Construction Bank in the Middle East, the branch adhered to the implementation of the national strategy and actively supported the real economy since its establishment. Taking the advantages of CCB's global network, products and services, the branch provides comprehensive financial support for enterprises, which effectively promotes the implementation of "go global" and "bring in" strategy. The branch participates in important regional " Belt and Road Initiative” project and promotes the deepening of Sino-Arab trade and investment fields. At the same time, the branch actively provides diversified financial services for local governments, sovereign funds, finance, petrochemicals, aviation, infrastructure and renewable energy and other industries. Relying on financial technology and platform advantages, we build a two-way and intelligent business matching system for Chinese and Arabic customers, which strongly enhance the steady and long-term development of China-Arab financial cooperation. In the future, the branch will take RMB internationalization, green credit, and financial technology as new financial transformation directions, continue to serve Chinese and Arabic enterprises and key projects, and make greater contributions to the cooperation between China and Arabic countries.
The China-Arab Economic and Trade Investment Summit Forum was founded in 2019. The summit forum was guided by China Daily and the Department of Commerce of Fujian Province, and hosted by China-Arab Television in Dubai, China's Foreign Government Information Service Platform, and the Management Committee of Zhangzhou Gulei Port Economic Development Zone. This year’s forum is also the parallel forum of the 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade, which has attracted wide attention from people in the fields of investment, trade, and finance in China and Arabic countries.
