In the week of February 20-24 2023, China Construction Bank (DIFC Branch) received the delegation from Inner Mongolia. Headed by Mr. Hu Yingfeng, Deputy Director-General of the Commerce Department of Inner Mongolia, the delegation included 4 other government officers and 51 corporate representatives from Inner Mongolia.

The visit aims to promote produce from Inner Mongolia while enhancing economic and trade cooperation between Inner Mongolia and UAE.

Focusing on the key agenda into enhancing bilateral trade, CCB DIFC Branch actively hosted various conferences and networking events for the delegation to meet various key market members and local business institutions. Itinerary of the visit included meetings with Dubai Chambers, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre and China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone. During the visits, the delegation is able to understand the local market and explore more cooperation opportunities.

On Feb 23, 2023, China Construction Bank (DIFC Branch) successfully co-organized “Inner Mongolian Merchants’ Tour on the Silk Road”, the first overseas economic and trade activity. During the event, The branch invited more than 10 companies which include local logical companies and supermarkets to participate in one-on-one talks with Inner Mongolia’s enterprises, achieving exact and favorable matchmaking results with multiple cooperation intention.

There still exists strong economic relations between businesses in the UAE and China. The mission of "CCB Match Plus" platform is to assist domestic Chinese companies to explore business opportunities in the UAE. Following the success of the visit, CCB DIFC branch will strive to enhance connectivity between domestic Chinese enterprises with the local companies to encourage more Chinese enterprises to “go global" and contribute to China’s "dual circulation strategy".
