Recently, the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Chinese Business Council in the UAE was held in Dubai. China Construction Bank DIFC Branch was invited to attend and won several corporate awards.
At the event, the Chinese Business Council in the UAE released the "Development Report on Chinese Enterprises in the UAE (2023-2024)" and the "Corporate Social Responsibility Achievements Report of Chinese Enterprises in the UAE." CCB DIFC Branch's outstanding examples in fulfilling corporate social responsibility, promoting economic development, and fostering friendly exchanges between China and the UAE were included as cases in the released reports. This fully demonstrates the social accountability and positive impact undertaken by China Construction Bank in the process of globalizing its operations.
As one of the representatives of Chinese financial enterprises in the UAE, CCB DIFC Branch was recognized for its outstanding performance in areas such as economic and trade cooperation, sustainable development, and social welfare outreach. The branch was granted three awards by the China Business Council in the UAE: "Support Economic Development," "Active Social Contribution," and "Special Contribution to the Chamber." These accolades not only affirm the Branch's efforts in serving Chinese national strategies, implementing new development philosophy, achieving high-quality development, and advancing China-UAE cooperation, but also highlight the branch’s long-standing commitment to practicing new finance, enhancing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance, and adhering to the fundamental principle of finance for good.
In the future, CCB DIFC Branch will take the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE as an opportunity to continue deepening China-UAE cooperation. It will actively build cross-border financial bridges, focusing on promoting high-level opening-up, advancing the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, and furthering the internationalization of the RMB. The branch will make greater contributions to facilitating trade, connecting logistics, and fostering exchanges between the two nations.
